The port is maintained in billet largely by a tight gibed and some glue that easily breaks loose. The amp is connected to the speaker with standard removable connectors. That’s it. It takes virtually 3-5 min to have apart. As for the Dayton, it performs virtually the same equally the stock one. It was made for a small routine bigger box, merely I wanted to know if the stock speaker was unable to handle much or was it the amp that produced the power. It appears to be the amp.
