This box is HUGE, and was a tremendous asset during our winter holiday. We were able to carry all of our luggage, gifts and collapsed dog bed in this roof box, freeing up the inside of the Volvo XC70 for the baby, 2 adults and 2 dogs. Well-made and sturdy, the set-up only took about 5 minutes, and the clamps attached to the crossbar by hand-tightening. I highly recommend this to anybody looking to free up cabin space! The Amazon shipping company Pilot called and scheduled a delivery, but since we were leaving for our holiday, I arranged to pick Thule 688BXT Rooftop up from their distribution center early. Very easy and pleasant! I am very happy with this cargo container. It is quiet on the road and is very spacious. I have a 2 seat Chariot Bicycle Trailer and it fits inside fine. I can also throw my favority Lazy lounger camping chair. I was glad I went larger with the cargo box.Great capacity for my van which alows me to carry extra clothing and eqipment for long trips without crowding the interior of the van.
